The Morakniv Eldris Hunting is a pocket knife that will impress you with its versatility. The blade is made from 12C27 Swedish Stainless Steel, processed at the Morakniv factory, and has two grinds.

The section near the handle and for the first 19 millimeters has a Scandinavian grind, also known as Scandi Grind, which is like a chisel. The remaining front portion of the blade has a finer grind. The thick part near the handle is suitable for tougher tasks, such as cutting ropes, processing branches for kindling, or sharpening branches to a sharp point. The thin front part of the blade is useful for delicate tasks, such as cutting food, skinning game, or making fishing lines.

The handle is of "regular" length, similar to that of a knife with a longer blade. This choice allows for a solid grip while providing excellent leverage to the hand controlling the blade.
